Corporate Events - a return to face-to-face events
Research released by Tourism Australia confirms what we are seeing locally - an increasing proportion of businesses are planning to hold events over the next 6 - 12 months. State and national conferences and incentive events are the main types of events which organisations are intending to run over the next 12 - 18 months.
As you might expect, the research shows that the top three reasons to hold events are:
- to build team morale or connection
- to reward employees
- to meet with customers and suppliers
Business Events Grant Opportunity
The Business Events program provides delegates, including buyers and sellers, with financial support to attend and participate at exhibitions, conferences and conventions. The initiative will instil confidence back into the business events sector and encourage businesses to return to the event forum.
Closing date: 30 Mar 2021 05:00 PM AEDT.
This program is demand driven and will be open until all funding has been allocated. Australian businesses including sole traders are eligible to apply for grant funding from $10,000 per entity per application up to a maximum of $250,000.
